God's Promise

One neat thing about living in AZ is we do get to see quite a few rainbows. They are always so bright here too! Last night it was trying to rain but it I guess it evaporated before it ever hit the ground here! The weather man says we should for sure get some rain tonight!!! We'll see! We sure do need it! It's been something like 78 days without rain.

Boys will be Boys

The boys were using their imagination the other day and this is what they came up with!
Broken Arms! Then for the next hour or so they were trying to do everything with a "broken arm"! I was cleaning the house and they had some stuff to put away. They were trying to do it with their broken arms but it was just causing more trouble so I made them take the slings off. Terrible Mom I know!!!! They had fun while it lasted and I'm sure they will bring them out again!

Japanese

We had a lamp that broke and the boys were taking it out to the trash. Kenni was carrying the top dome part and decided it would be good to put on his head. Then he started dancing around saying "I'm Japanese" The others of course had to do it too but Kenni looked the most funny.

Indoor Fun

A couple of Christmas's Mikey got the kids helicopters. At the time we didn't have enough batteries (they each take 6) and the kids had a lot of other stuff to play with anyway so I put them away in the closet for a later time. Well a year and a half later I was cleaning out the closet (and we actually had batteries) so I got them out for the kids. Not even 2 days later Little Man broke his. He cracked the propeller and thought a band aid would work to put it back together. Well it fixed the propeller but now it's too heavy on one side! He had a good idea though! So now instead of bugging me for something to do they have the helicopters to keep them occupied!! We'll see how long it lasts :)

Our New Pet......

Ch Ch Ch Chia pet that is!!!! Chia Shrek actually. We tried to make him have eyebrows and a soul patch but those parts never sprouted for some reason. And for those of you who know how well I am with plants, it's amazing that any of it sprouted at all!

3rd of July

For some reason the fireworks for our town are on the 3rd of July. The fireworks are really awesome for our little town and the best part is we sit right in our driveway! It also turned out to be a really nice night for sitting outside!

Will It Rain Already?!?!?!

According to the weather man we haven't had rain since Apr 22nd. It's been windy lately and since it is so dry the wind has kicked up a lot of dust. Now the air is yucky and we are all having breathing problems. 2 nights in a row last week I was up doing breathing treatments with James and Maddi. Laura, Kenni and I are all congested and we have sore throats. It's not fun living in a dust bowl :(

Maddi does such a great job sitting through her breathing treatments! Poor thing!
