Mom, Look...No Tooth!

Little Man's front tooth has been loose for FOREVER!!!! We kept trying to get him to pull it but he had to keep waiting. He finally decided to pull it sunday night. It took him hours to do it though. Finally he had Daddy pull it but didn't tell me. He came into the kitchen with the paper towel on his tooth and pulled the paper towl away and said "Look Mom I just pulled my tooth!" Daddy had already pulled it though but thye wanted to play a trick on me!

Fun Filled Saturday

This saturday was another action packed day for the kids. Early in the morning James, Greg, Mikey and Kenni went shooting. After we were done there we went over to Greg and Laurel's for some awesome BBQ and some more fun with the horses. We cleaned out the stalls again and got to drag the corral with the 4 wheeler. This time Laura then Kenni sat on the drag, Maddi got to drive and Little Man sat on the back with his gun!

Super Stars

Maddi and Laura both just LOVE to sing. For christmas they got Disney's Sing it. Maddi also got a play microphone . She wsa singing for me the other day and then her and Laura put on a show. After every song that Maddi sang she had to scream and yell! It was really cute!

These are links to 2 more videos. For some reason I couldn't get them uploaded to blogger!

Horse Apples

Today we went over to Greg and Laurel's for a little outdoor fun! It was a very nice day to be outside....and get dirty....

Greg and Laura cleaning the saddle

Before we rode we had to first earn our ride by cleaning the horse stalls!!!!
James started out with the shovel then Kenni wanted it so James gave it to him but didn't take Kenni's rake.
He ended up "supervising"

Gram watching all the action

After cleaning out the stalls they had to spread the horse apples

Laura patiently waiting her turn to drive

Finally getting her turn

There just wasn't enough weight on the rake so Greg went "surfing"

After a while he decided it might be easier to let the kids do it.

Who needs an ocean to go surfing?

Laura was such a pro on the horse

Poncho got a little spurt of energy and took a tiny run.
James LOVED IT!

When it came to Kenni's turn Laura was so great with the horses that she got to lead Poncho around the corral.

James needed a turn too but Poncho wanted to follow Laura and not James

Christmas

This year for Christmas we stayed home and just enjoyed our day together. The boys got GI Joe for PlayStation and the girls got Sing It for the PlayStation. So they had a fun filled day of taking turns using the playstation. It actually went really well. I thought it was going to be a big fight all day over whose turn it was. James made a nice dinner, pork roast, brussel sprouts, twice baked potatoes, and we had an assortment of pies and candy for dessert. It was a relaxing day and most of all the kids had a really good time!

Christmas Eve

Every year since we have lived in AZ Greg and Laurel have invited us over to spend Christmas Eve with them. Usually Josh isn't able to make it down until later in the evening because he has to work but this year he actually had off! We we able to spend some time outside before dinner. It was a little chilly but not too bad. After our yummy dinner we went back outside for the traditional christmas eve bon fire. We went from freezing to roasting back to being cold but it was a great time.

This is Josh giving the kids "roping" lessons

The kids playing on the hay. There most favorite thing to do.

Kenni saying hi to the horses.

Maddi on a horse.

Gucker on top of the tack room. Greg's idea by the way!

Enjoying the fire.

Greg telling silly jokes!

Happy Birthday Fisher

Today is Fisher's 29th birthday! We have known each other since 5th grade and have been friends for a really long time! Every year for approximately the last 8 years I have always sent her a card. This year I have failed to do it. So instead she gets a post all to herself!!! I'm really sorry Fisher that I didn't get your card out this year and I hope you have a wonderful birthday!!!!!
I told you my kids weren't into taking pictures lately but at least this is a picture of them!!!!
