The Heat is On

The past few days it has been near or above 100 degrees. The kids have been bugging me since February to go swimming. The pool I thought was still a little too chilly so they got to run in the sprinklers instead. The boys didn't last all that long and decided to go in and shower since they had grass EVERYWHERE! The girls and I went to just check and see how cold the pool really was. Maddi instantly wanted to get in and once Laura saw that, she did a huge cannonball right into the pool. Shoes and all! The pool was still too cold for me to get in but the girls had a blast. By the time they got out they had purple lips because they were so cold but a nice hot bath warmed them up in no time. The boys weren't too happy when they got out of the shower and found out the girls got to get in the pool though. I don't have any pool pictures but here are some from running in the sprinklers.
