It's been getting cooler here (finally) so I have been busy tyring to organize/deep clean. I have also been trying to potty train Maddi and it isn't going as well as I would like. She is doing pretty good though.
We had conferences last week at school and got really good reports. Laura is a great student (helpful wise) but she having a bit of a hard time with Math and reading. The teacher said she knows Laura can do it but Laura has a problem focusing in class. James is a star student all around and is being tested this week for the gifted program. Kenni is doing great and his teacher just loves him. She did say he has made a new friend, Sami (a girl of course because he's already a ladies man) and they get a little chatty sometimes! Over all we are super happy with our kids' reports!
Every time we have an empty box of any kind, toilet paper roll or paper towel roll our crafty kids fight over who gets it so they can make a project. Most of the time they just end up cutting it up into shreds all over the floor and never really make anything. A couple of weeks ago Little Man had all these pieces of cardboard cut out and said he needed some glue. Each day he would add another piece and let it dry over night. His finish product was an airplane for his army guys. He even put a paper clip in side so his guy could hang on. I was very impressed! After all the glue was dry he and Daddy painted it camo colors of course. He was super proud of his plane!
