Laura's 10th Birthday

It's hard to believe but our little girl has turned 10 years old. A few days before her birthday Aunt Lisha took the kids for 3 whole days. That worked out perfectly because Grandad had called and said he was coming out to surprise Laura for her birthday. The night we picked him up from the airport we had Aunt Lisha meet us at a restuarant. We got there first and while the kids were coming in Grandad went a hid out in the bathroom. After the kids got seated with us Grandad came out and stood a booth away to see who would recognize he was there. He was trying to get Maddi's attention but she was so busy telling me about everything she did over the weekend she had no clue. Laura finally turned around and saw Grandad standing there. Once she jumped up and yelled Grandad the other kids caught on! Grandad later on asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she told him that him surprising her was all she wanted! Grandad got here on saturday night and left thursday morning so we had about 4 days of jammed packed fun with Grandad. We of course had to go to Golden Coral for breakfast and make a shopping trip to walmart, we went and saw a movie and went swimming and we had the family down for lunch. The kids just had a blast!
