Cookies for Kenni

Yesterday morning I went to Kenni's class to help out for a little bit. The teacher just kept telling me that Kenni is her favorite and that he is so funny. Kenni reminds her of her Dad when he was a little boy. She said that she has a ton of stories about Kenni. The funniest one was from last week. She was teaching the kids about our country and showed them a picture and it happened to Barack Obama. She said the kids were all telling her President Obama. Kenni shouted out "Hey! That's Obama and he wants to take our guns sway from me and my Dad!" She said she couldn't help but just laugh. I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes!

After I was done there and getting ready to go Kenni started to cry. I promised him that if we got homework done on time then we could make some cookies. So that is what Kenni got to do last night. He did all the adding ingredients, mixing and putting the cookies on the sheet to be baked. Laura got to crack the eggs and Maddi was the expert taste tester!
