Slippin' and Slidin'

Friday afternoon the neighbors invited us over for dinner. Daddy had to work so the kids and I went. The neighbors have a slip and slide that they made themselves out of a huge tarp and a huge piece of plastic and they got that out. The kids all had a blast and surprising enough (with 9 kids playing on it) there were no injuries! We had dinner and then went back outside to play. Eventually it got dark and the kids decided that instead of playing on the slip and slide they would take the water that didn't drain off and bring it over to their sandbox. They turned it into a huge mud pit. Everyone was covered from head to toe in mud! It was a really big mess but contained pretty much to the sand box and they all had such a great time. I didn't get any pictures of the mud covered kids but I got some as they were playing on the slip and slide. I'm sure you can imagine what they all looked like!
