Pink Eggs and Pink Eye

Friday night before Easter Greg and Laurel watched the kids so James and I could go out. Kenni was very hesitant to go because he was going to miss me but he did really great. Maddi, who I was worried about, did awesome too. We picked them up Saturday morning to head up to Scottsdale for the annual Family Easter Picnic. When Little Man woke up Saturday morning he had pink eye again! He went back and forth with the decision to go or not but in the end we decided to go. Laurel (being the great mom she is and saves medicine) had some pink eye drops at her house so we started them right away and just told Little Man not to hug anyone! He didn't have a problem with that because he always tries to get away from hugs and kisses anyway! The Easter picnic was at the railroad park in Scottsdale which is a really neat place. I didn't get any pictures but I got this video of the kids riding the train. It's hard to pick them out but Little Man was up toward front with Gabe (they are waving) Laura and Maddi were in the back with Kelsey and Meagan. Kenni is in the enclosed car of the train.

After the picnic we headed home to dye easter eggs! Maddi's were of course all purple because that is her favorite color!

The next morning the kids woke up found baskets and eggs and instantly wanted easter candy. I made them wait though! Little Man's eye was still trashed and Kenni woke up with quite a nasty cough so we just had pretty relaxing day and I made the boys stay inside so they could get better!
