On the road to recovery

This has been a fun week at the Ozbirn household! Last Friday the school called. Kenni had a fever of 100.6 and I had to pick him up. At first I thought 100.6 is nothing and he was probably just hot because he leaves his coat on all day. When I got there though he was glad I was there. He said he had a headache. The night before he was complaining of a headache but that was his concert and he was having a bad day. I guess his headache wasn't from all of the kids at school like he said. When the school called Gram and I were at Wal-mart so I just left Gram there and quick went and picked up Kenni and then went back so she could finish her shopping and I could get Kenni some medicine. We did that and by the time we got home his fever just kept going up. All weekend he just kept crying because his head hurt so bad but no matter what I gave him it didn't help. I noticed on Saturday his tonsils looked like cottage cheese but I was just waiting it out until Sunday to see how he was feeling. He ran a fever part of Sunday but then finally late afternoon it broke. I kept him home Monday and was going to possibly take him to the dr but he was fine so I didn't even have to do that. The bumps on this throat went away on their own too!

Sunday night Little Man said he had a headache so we went through it all over with him. He never got the bumps on his throat or as high as a fever as Kenni but when he gets sick the whole world ends! He also had a stomach ache too. The poor guy whined in his sleep all night Sunday night so I kept him home Monday too.

Monday Laura went to school but when I picked her up she wasn't feeling well either. She never got a fever at all but her head hurt and her stomach.

Tuesday I just kept everyone home they got some good rest and their homework done.

Wednesday I got everyone up because I was not letting them stay home again or I was going to go to school! Laura and Kenni were find but Little Man said his belly was still hurting so I let him stay home.

Maddi woke up crabby Tuesday morning which isn't unusual but it continued all day. All she wanted was me and she was starting to feel a little warm. She really wasn't eating either. It was about noon and she just fell asleep on the couch by herself which never happens! She fell asleep again after dinner on the couch that night too. She said her head hurt and she was running a fever. She still felt a little warm yesterday morning but was acting fine and today she is back to her normal self and everyone went to school!!!!!!
