Our 2nd Home????

Today I was in the kitchen making kool aid and here comes Laura telling me that Kenni hit his head on the bench in the dining room. At first I was mad because they were supposed to be helping clean the house today and they were messing around. As soon as it happened he ran into his room so I knew it happened when they were doing something they weren't supposed to be doing. Kenni told me Laura had pushed him off of the picnic table that was in the dining room and he hit the bench. Laura told me Kenni was standing on it and he said to her "Sissy, Remember when we used to push each other off of the picnic table outside?" So she took it as he wanted her to push him off right then and there, which he probably really did. Anyway.....The outcome wasn't good. I called James and then Greg to find out what I should do. I already had ice on it and Greg said to call him at 11:30am which was not even a half an hour with a report. In the meantime I called James back and we agreed it was better to take Kenni to the ER because of where he hit his head and how hard he hit it. James and I also agreed that one of us would take him and the other would stay home. James thought that Kenni would probably want his Mommy to take him but to James' surprise Kenni wanted his Daddy to take him. Now he is boasting about it!! After a very long afternoon at the ER everything checked out fine. Kenni got a McDonald's Happy Meal for going to the ER and being a good boy! He was very excited about that because with our crew it's usually you eat off the $ menu or you don't eat at McDonald's!
